Intel Luncurkan 20 Prosesor Alder Lake Seri P dan U untuk Laptop Tipis
KOMPAS.com - Intel kembali meluncurkan deretan prosesor (CPU) laptop generasi terbarunya dari lini Alder Lake (Generasi ke-12).
Setelah berbagai model Intel Core H-Series yang diumumkan di gelaran CES 2022 Januari lalu, kini giliran beragam tipe Intel Core P-Series dan U-Series yang dikuak pabrikan chip asal Amerika Serikat (AS) tersebut.
Menurut Intel, deretan prosesor seri P dan U terbaru ini dihadirkan untuk menunjang berbagai laptop tipis dan ringan masa kini, yang biasanya fokus pada aspek efisiensi daya, namun masih tetap mengedepankan performa jempolan.
Secara jumlah, ada 20 prosesor yang diluncurkan Intel, terdiri dari enam prosesor dari Intel Core P-Series, tujuh prosesor dari Intel Core U-Series (15W), dan tujuh prosesor dari Intel Core U-Series (9W).
Tipe tertinggi dari Intel Core P-Series adalah Intel Core i7-1280P. Prosesor ini memiliki 14 inti (core) yang terdiri dari 6 inti untuk performa (P-cores) berkecepatan hingga 4,8 GHz (turbo), serta 8 inti untuk menghemat daya (E-cores) dengan kecepatan hingga 3,6 GHz (turbo).
Untuk Intel Core U-Series seri TDP 15W, tipe tertingginya adalah Intel Core i7-1265U yang memiliki 10 inti prosesor (2 P-cores dan 8 E-cores), dengan kecepatan prosesor maksimal 4,8 GHz untuk P-cores dan 3,6 GHz untuk E-cores.
Sementara itu untuk Intel Core U-Series seri TDP 9W, tipe yang paling mumpuni adalah Intel Core i7-1260U yang memiliki jumlah inti serupa dengan Intel Core i7-1265U tadi. Hanya saja, kecepatannya turbo-nya mentok di 4,7 GHz untuk P-cores dan 3,5 GHz untuk E-cores.
Untuk menunjang kinerja visual, seluruh prosesor terbaru Intel Alder Lake dari seri P dan U ini juga sudah ditenagai dengan pengolah grafis (GPU) Iris Xe yang memiliki Execution Units (EUs) hingga 96 unit, dengan kecepatan hingga 1,45 GHz.
Rencananya, prosesor Intel Core P-Series dan U-Series terbaru ini bakal mentenagai sejumlah laptop tipis dan ringan yang dirilis berbagai vendor pada Maret 2022 mendatang, sebagaimana dirangkum KompasTekno dari TheVerge, Kamis (24/2/2022).
